Tour de Bowness

Every year there is a four day bike festival in Calgary that includes various different events such as a hill climb, road race, circuit race and criterium. We headed down to Bowness for the criterium on holiday Monday to check out the most spectator friendly event where competitors do multiple laps of a 1km course. Its easy to freeze the action in bike races but the real fun happens when you experiment with slightly slower shutter speeds to get some blur in the shots to really show the speeds that these riders maintain. Here are some of the highlights.
