Emerald Lake

We spent the past couple days at Emerald Lake. Whenever I go somewhere beautiful I get excited about the challenge of how to shoot the location but its always really quickly that I realize how difficult landscape photography really is. Technically you are responsible for everything that is in the frame and you have to be so conscious of what you include and what you exclude. People who do it professionally get up early, hike into remote locations, and wait for perfect lighting in order to get their shot. I cant imagine the patience and persistence this type of photography must take. I certainly would never be able to do it but I have a lot of admiration for those who do.
