A few years ago when I first bought a DSLR I went to the zoo and got a shot of a peacock feather close up. I loved the photo so much but after my computer crashed and I lost the image I realized I also had never printed it. This weekend I went to the zoo for 5 minutes to try to replicate the shot. Ladybug in the Rockies

While trying to shoot sweeping fall landscapes I happened upon this little ladybug. Its a real faux-pas to shoot macro type shots with wide angle lenses but I couldnt pass up the opportunity.
